“My dad enrolled me in hockey for fun back when I was 4/5 years old. At the beginning I hated it, used to cry, I think I broke his back trying to teach me how to skate. My passion for the game just grew, I was fortunate enough to live my childhood dream. Looking back on everything, what drove me was to perform and go out there to be in a team environment, but at the same time go out at there and impress, ‘wow’, put on a show and try to always reach for more. I was never a person that was content once I achieved something, I always wanted to go onto the next thing, move onto the next thing to bigger and better things and I think that’s what I miss right now about the sport. I miss reaching for that something.” – Mike Santorelli, Retired NHL Player. (1/11)
