“The happiest moment was not the Olympics per say, but knowing I was going the Olympics, that race at trials. Also Pan Ams is also a really good one, it was the first Gold that I got to win, and that’s when my dad, my aunt and uncle got to see and other family members that got to see. Those are probably my biggest two moments, like getting to know I was going to the Olympics because I was more stressed at that race then I was at the Olympics. The race in Rio, it was the first race out of my whole racing career internationally that I was so prepared that it was like coming to Nationals and racing on the line, it was like ‘alright, I am not scared’, like I don’t think I didn’t do enough work, I put in so much work, I’ve prepared myself so much I was so ready.” – KC Fraser, Olympic Kayaker, Pan Am Games Gold Medalist.
