“If you want to be great at what you do, you have to be obsessive, a little bit crazy about it. You have to do things that nobody else is going to do and then you have to have fun. A lot of times, people think that achieving something is a pinnacle or the end. There is no end until we die basically. We are wired to always want to achieve more so if you can’t enjoy the journey of getting better. Like if all I focus on is when I come back from injury and I can’t focus on this ‘process’ of recovering from this injury then I’m wasting special moments, special days, special memories. Because once I get back from this injury I’m going to have another goal, I want to play well. And once I play well, I’ll want to play well again. There’s always going to be a list of goals so you have to really find purpose and contentment in each day, and that’s where my faith comes in and that’s probably what I would advise to anybody is, enjoy the moment, you got to work really really hard but you also have to enjoy the moment.” – Jeremy Lin, @nba Point Guard with @brooklynnets (4/4)
