What does fitness from within mean?

To me, it means a lot of different things. The main one being that the journey of becoming your best self through physical fitness starts from within. This means that once you prioritize making your mental state and health a priority, your physical fitness will fall right into place. Its not about looking perfect on the outside and having the most chiseled abs, its loving and embracing your perfect imperfections all while working on becoming your best self each and every day.

When you step into fitness with this approach you realize how much easier it is to reach all your goals and celebrate your progress along the way. I was once a believer of strict clean eating “dieting” and believing you had to workout for 2+ hours a day to achieve the results I thought I needed to have as someone who is a teacher in fitness. As of lately, my approach of fitness from within has become something of a lifestyle for me, and I have truly never felt more at ease with reaching my goals and listening to my body. I want you to know that it is possible to reach all your fitness and personal goals all while fully enjoying the process of getting to the goal! After all, the process is where everything takes place! I say if you don’t enjoy the process you won’t enjoy the destination! This is why I think it is so important to find joy in your fitness journey and really do things that make you feel your best throughout the day.

When it comes to nutrition, I believe our bodies have a way of communicating with us and letting us know what foods it likes and dislikes. When we really tune into this message from our body it becomes easier to make the right decisions when it comes to food. You start to want to fuel your body with whole nourishing foods versus processed foods. Nutrition is something that can really heal you mentally, physically and emotionally so I know that having the right nutrition program to follow is key! I am a bit of a nutrition geek so you can find all kinds of information on nutrition on my website, in my programs and on my blog!

I want to share my approach with as many others as I can and so I am working on ways where I could reach more people and inspire them to live their best lives through fitness and adopt a positive approach to life. On top of fitness, my mission is to inspire others to do what inspires them! When your truly inspired by something and you share that with the world, its a beautiful thing.
