“Anders has been such a big part in my career, he’s had an amazing paddling career and there’s a reason why I made it to 3 Olympics, he was a big reason for that. We’ve had some pretty amazing trips together and life has been crazy because you know he was competing and I was competing and we weren’t training at the same place. He just gave the memory trophy for Adam and for us it’s such a big part of our life because that’s how we met, it’s all linked clearly. He’s been really helpful, he stopped paddling after the London Olympics but he supported me for 1 more, I think the 2 of us now are getting on this adventure and we are not so sure what we got ourselves into but it’s pretty good.
